"Silhouetted Faces and Period Pieces” by artist Duvian Montoya

Reflecting through fashion the generations that have passed through the South Norwalk Train Station, Artist Duvian Montoya paints only the clothing of these life size figures to pay tribute to the various generations rather than an individual.

Visitors are encouraged to interact with generations from the 1860s to present by scanning the QR codes on 15 of the figures.

Duvian Montoya is a mixed-media painter who grew up in Norwalk. A student of the School of Visual arts in Manhattan, Duvian’s work has been show in galleries and museums around the world.

"Distributed cultural landscape" by artists Matt Rink, David Boyajian and architect Vincept Appel.

Seventeen hand-sized cast aluminum forms relating to the context of South Norwalk are being distributed throughout the South Norwalk Train Station. An oyster schooner, the buoy and a lighthouse as well as a hat on a hat box, to name a few. Visitors are encouraged to touch and interact with the art at the sono railroad station and through an interactive website that provides information on each piece to learn more about how it relates to the context of South Norwalk.
